The 7th Glencoe Marathon Gathering will take place on Sunday 30th September 2018.
Places are sold on a standard entry basis only.
The standard entry registration fee for each participant is £50 for the Glencoe Marathon, £40 for the Mamores Half Marathon and £25 for the Glen Nevis 10K. The fee is great value and includes WildFox Events' support from signing up to crossing the finish line, refreshments and services at checkpoints/water stops, medical and logistical support. And until 31st December 2017 the registration fee also includes a free event t-shirt, worth £10. The registration fee also includes:
Finisher’s medal, electronic timing, feed stations along the route, first aid and safety cover throughout the event, an incredible experience in the Highlands of Scotland!
There is a cut off date for standard entries of 31st December 2017 at 2359. From 1st January 2018, the entry prices will stay the same but a free t-shirt will not be included.
From 1st April 2018, the prices will rise to £55 for the Marathon, £45 for the Half Marathon and £25 for the 10K.
Entry will close completely on 22nd September at 23:59, or earlier if the event capacity is reached.
The Glencoe Marathon Gathering is for individuals who are looking for a true endurance test in each of the distances. Make no mistake this is a serious challenge in a remote but spectacular location that will test your fitness, robustness and resilience to the limit. Previous experience of marathon/half marathon/10K running, hill running and endurance events will stand you in good stead. It is important that you train appropriately for it – in terms of distance, ascent and terrain. Dogs are not allowed to run with runners.
Participants must be aged 18 or over on 30th Setember 2018 to take part in the Glencoe Marathon and Mamores Half Marathon. Participants must be aged 16 or over on 30th September 2018 to take part in the Glen Nevis 10K.
By registering for the 2018 Glencoe Marathon Gathering you confirm that you accept the General and Medical Disclaimers. You will be required to 'tick' a box to confirm you have read and understood the event regulations.
